The Camp Fogarty overnight at the RI National Guard base is coming up soon, April 28-29, 2012. You can go for the day or stay overnight. I suggest the Webelos stay overnight to get the overnight they are supposed to do in. There are lots to do, hummers and helicopters to check out, see the inside of a yurt, laser rifle range, obstacle course. Please let Rachel Amato know if you are interested in going. Cross Country Skiing in Carlisle Feb. 4 at 1 PM at the Great Brook State Park. This is now a hike. Meet at the Cross Country Ski area and we can go from there. There are many trails there, here is a link to maps, http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/trails/greatbrook.pdf
Please be advised, that due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms this afternoon, the Cubmobile races for today have been cancelled. The proposed rain date of May 22nd, same time, same place, is when the races will be held. The decision to postpone was not an easy one, after we've all worked hard to prepare for today's race (scouts and leaders alike)! But, safety above all, is our primary concern.
